Best Student Poster Awards

The Scientific Committee awards prizes for an outstanding student research work presented at the Congress. The aim of the Awards is to encourage anthropological research by young people and to reward excellence in anthropology and significant contributions to the discipline. The prizes are to be given to the persons judged as presenting the best poster by a student at the Congress. Students may indicate that they wish to enter the competition when they submit an abstract for the presentation at the Congress.
To be eligible for the prize candidate needs:

• to present the work that has been done as the research project,
• to be the first author (the sole or the first author of a team registered as a student),
• to be currently registered as a student with a University or a College and identified and vouched for his/her supervisor (s).

Eligibility also extends to those who, although no longer registered as a student, have completed their studies within the last 12 months (since July 2009) and who are presenting the results of their studies rather than subsequent work.
